These terms cover your use of Seasons. They're written in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or uploading anything, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Seasons is an amateur sports archive where former teammates can pool memorabilia from old high school, college, and rec seasons. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share your login. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before uploading anything that includes you or your teammates.
3. What you upload
You keep ownership of anything you upload. You grant Seasons a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, and reformat your uploads so we can show them on the site, in season pages, and in auto-generated highlight reels. This license lasts as long as your content is on Seasons; if you delete an upload, the license ends except for backups that roll off on a normal retention cycle.
Only upload material you have the right to share — your own photos, scans of newspaper clippings or programs you own, team rosters, etc. See our Content Policy for specifics.
4. Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate speech, or doxing teammates.
- No spam, scraping, or automated abuse of the site.
- No content involving minors that wouldn't have run in a school yearbook or local newspaper.
- No copyrighted material you don't have permission to share.
- No attempting to access other users' accounts or data.
We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
5. Takedowns & DMCA
If something on Seasons shouldn't be there — copyright, privacy, or just "that's a bad photo of me" — reach out from the About page with a link to the upload and a short note explaining the issue, and we'll review it promptly. Copyright owners can submit DMCA takedown notices the same way; include the work being infringed, the URL on Seasons, your contact info, and a good-faith statement that you're authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.
6. Account deletion
You can delete uploads and comments you've posted at any time. To delete your entire account or request a copy of your data, contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
7. The site is provided "as is"
We do our best to keep things working, but Seasons is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for lost uploads, downtime, data loss, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of the page when we do. Continued use of Seasons after a change means you accept the new version.
